Solardome: where you
can find everything under the sun!
When we first
created Solardome, we determined to create an internet destination for those in
search of knowledge.
We knew the web held
great potential as a source of information, and we were eager to be part of
that.
We soon discovered,
however, that there already was a great deal of info propagated throughout the
net, and realized that our job was not in providing the information, but in
directing people towards it.
In ancient times,
and even in modern times, people used the sun for information. They could find
their way by following the sun in the sky. They could tell time by watching the
sun's movements. They could even figure out the weather. Using the sun as our
inspiration, we created Solardome, a single star in the daytime sky that is the
internet, one to guide the way.
For the sake of
simplicity, we have done our best to categorize the massive amounts of
information available, but it can be confusing. We hope that you'll bear with us
as we undertake this enormous project, remembering that we do it for you, and
realizing that we rely on you and your assistance to help us. If you notice
anything missing, broken, or just great, please let us know!
